An experiment you can only run on yourself
Most of what we call vitality is known from the inside first. Before any instrument records anything, a body already registers warmth, ease, tension, attention, rhythm.
This session turns that ordinary capacity into a deliberate practice. You will be guided to stand, move gently, and follow your own sensations while a Selfica field is active in the room — and, for those joining online, while the same guidance is given live from within it.
Nothing is asked of you except attention. What you notice is yours to interpret.
WHAT ORIGIN IS
ORIGIN is a worldwide event bringing together ancestral wisdom, modern science and collective participation, reconnecting humanity with the living systems of the Earth. Its climax is a synchronized Moment of Global Unity on October 17, when millions of people across every time zone pause together to affirm a positive vision for a new Earth.
THE CONNECTION
a Journey That began here
This connection is not new. In November 2025, Dr. Zach Bush chose Damanhur as the opening of his regenerative journey through Italy — the first foundation, the ground of energy itself. Over two days, The Energetic Blueprint of Healing brought medicine, ecology, consciousness and subtle-energy research around a single question: what if health, like life, is a matter of coherence?
At its heart was Selfica — Damanhur’s fifty-year research into the field that living systems interact with, and water as a living carrier of information. His path through Italy followed a simple arc — energy, body, earth — the same movement that now animates Origin, and the same one that shapes this day at Damanhur.
There is even a quiet coincidence in the symbol: Origin’s emblem is a hand marked with a spiral — the very spiral that, at Damanhur, names Selfica. On September 19, that shared field opens again.
Selfica is an experiential and research practice, not a therapy or a treatment. In this session you are invited to observe it directly rather than take anyone’s word for it.

What Selfica is
Selfica is a discipline researched and developed at Damanhur, the spiritual community founded in the Piedmont Alps in 1975. It builds objects from spirals of metal, alloys, colours, mineral inks and liquids — arranged so that they form what Damanhurian research calls a field: a structured environment that living systems can interact with.
Some Selfica are small enough to wear. Others are architectural, large enough to walk into. What they share is a purpose: to create conditions that support attention, rest, self-perception and personal energy.
How the thirty minutes unfold
1. Arriving
A short introduction to the field and to what you are about to do. Standing, feet on the ground, nothing to achieve.
2. Moving and listening
Simple guided movement and breath, then stillness. Your only task is to notice: temperature, weight, breath, the edges of your attention.
3. Naming what happened
A brief closing round. Words, or silence. What participants report becomes part of the wider conversation at Measuring the Invisible.

Esperide Ananas Ametista, Ph.D, is a psycho-sociologist, spiritual mentor, healer, writer, and international facilitator.
She has lived and researched at Damanhur for over three decades, working closely with Falco Tarassaco on Selfica and Inner Alchemy.
Her work explores direct, experiential ways of connecting with subtle fields of consciousness and transformation.

This session is built around observation and shared reporting rather than explanation — a familiar practice approached with the research question of the event in mind.
If you work in research or wellbeing
You are invited as a participant-observer. First-person data has its own value, and its own limits. Both are part of what we want to discuss.
