On October 17, people around the world gather for ORIGIN, a global event that brings together ancestral wisdom, modern science and collective participation in celebration of our Planet Earth. At Damanhur, we’re marking it with a full day open to everyone. There are guided visits, treatments and open gatherings, and the day ends with the Moment of Global Unity at 20:30 Italian time.

You start with a visit to Damjl, then go down into the Temples of Humankind.
Morning visit: Damjl 09:30–10:30 · Temples 11:00–13:00
Afternoon visit: Damjl 14:30–15:30 · Temples 16:00–18:00

20:30 · Connection with Origin and Lighting of the Pira
We join the global Moment of Global Unity and light the Pira, our traditional fire. We’ll say a Universal Prayer for Mother Earth together and close with an anthem.
IMPORTANT: Smoking is prohibited in Damanhur’s territories, even outdoors.
