At Damanhur, we consider the Solstices to be particularly sacred times of the year. The entire community comes together to celebrate these important events inside large stone circles. During the days of the ritual, a fire is lit to represent the sun and, another second fire symbolizes the moon.
On this occasion we celebrate with a shared ritual lunch with hundreds of people, followed by a vibrant collective moment featuring the conquering of animal and plant names, theater performances, the reading of the Sages and surprises!
