Ring in the new year — in August! Damanhur celebrates its New Year’s Eve on August 31.
This magical evening is full of sharing, music, and dance celebration.
Around midnight, each member of the Spiritual Popolo and friends lights a personal candle, and all candles are placed together in a large falcon shape, forming a constellation. This is a symbolic moment of connection between the Popolo and other points of life in the universe aligned with the intention of spiritual awakening.
Following the traditional and beautiful chant of the Mantra of the Stars.
The program continues with celebration for the end of the Old and the beginning of the New Year around the Stellar Falcon, with music and rhythms for as long as there is energy and drive from everyone taking part to sustain it!

18:30 Offering to the Altars
19:00 Celebration of the Cornucopia Ritual
20:00 Dinner together with food prepared by the nucleo families
21:00 Program with Theater and Music at the Amphitheater of the Open Temple; reading ot the Letter of Intent, presented by the Sages of Damanhur, Name Conquests, and Laser Show
22:15 Lighting of the Stellar Falcon for all members of the Popolo. Following the traditional Chant of the Mantra of the Stars.
Finally, celebrations for the end of the old year and the beginning of the new year. If the energy and desire to be there will sustain those present, the program will continue, around the Stellar Falcon, with spontaneous music and rhythms.
