The Magical Revival of Indigenous Peoples, that we also call Progetto Popoli, is the natural consequence of the attention and sensitivity Damanhur has always cultivated towards the diversity of cultures and Indigenous Peoples.
Spirituality expresses itself in many forms: for many years Damanhur has invited representatives of Indigenous Peoples from around the world to deposit a vibrational copy of the essence of their wisdom in Damanhur’s sacred areas, collecting the gems of their wisdom and experience as custodians of the Earth.
Indeed, Indigenous Peoples have always preserved the ancient knowledge that enables them to establish a harmonious relationship with nature, animals and the subtle creatures that inhabit it, based on listening and mutual respect. In this, we can learn a lot from them, and their wisdom is crucial for the world in these times.

A Popolo, Spiritual People, is a community of people who recognise themselves in the care of a territory, in the development of a common social structure and culture, in the sharing of the fundamental values of living. Even the Damanhurians, although they come from different countries of the world, consider themselves a young Popolo, who try to build a new civilisation, harmonising the positive aspects of their original cultures with ancient wisdom teaching and Indigenous Peoples, to launch new projects and dreams in the world.
One of these projects is to contribute in a concrete way to preserve the cultures of the Indigenous Peoples, which continue to be marginalised and in many cases risk extinction. Their disappearance, and with them their wisdom teachings, is a great loss to all of humanity. The mission of Damanhur in the past years has been to identify and contact representatives of indigenous peoples visiting Europe and Italy, inviting them to Damanhur and ‘deposit’ a seed of their knowledge in our sacred places, so that it can be preserved in time. We also organise trips to meet them in their own lands.

Since May 2010, numerous representatives and shamans from different indigenous groups have come to Damanhur to bring testimonies of their knowledge and cultural heritage, incorporating them into the memory of a magical structure, the Crystal Spiral.

Another major project in Damanhur is the building of the “Temple of Concordance”, a new sacred space within which a Parliament of Peoples is to be built, dedicated to containing the ancient wisdom of the Indigenous Peoples. In this place, representatives of all Indigenous Peoples will be able to meet and inspire the world, integrating their ideas and wisdom with the experiences and dreams of modern leaders and groups, all change agents that are sensitive to the need for social and cultural transformation.

Even to much has been done, so much remains to be done, both in the area of connecting with the Indigenous Peoples and in that of building the structure of the Temple of Concordance and the Parliament of Peoples. We need architects, town planners, design engineers, services and materials, financiers and promoters. Above all, we need dreamers, who know how to share the vision and the building of a new world with others.
