My name is Janara and I live in the US. My family is from Italy and I would like to establish dual citizenship. I’m curious about the land of my ancestors, especially its spiritual heritage before Christianity.

A lifelong seeker, I began to study comparative religions, the occult, and spirituality at a young age. I found earth-centered spirituality and have practiced it throughout my life. I’ve been a member of many groups and have founded two of my own. I would describe myself now as a scientific mystic or simply an animist. I believe that all of creation is made up of the same energy, and that energy is intelligent and conscious.

My professional life has been about serving humanity and helping to elevate consciousness. I am a massage therapist, yoga therapist, reiki master, environmental educator, outdoor guide, artist, poet, and musician. Right now I’m working on getting my captain’s license so that I can take people out on the water. I would like to have my own sailboat, so that I can run tours that teach about the local ecosystem, facilitate painting and writing in nature, and yoga and meditation.

I’m also a teacher and practitioner of primitive and traditional skills. I grew up on a homestead and know how to live self-sufficiently and in harmony with the local environment and seasons. I have dreamed of living this way but so far have not been able to buy my own land or find a compatible community.
