A dream is… catching the light ✨

There is a place in Damanhur, between the territories of Magilla and Dendera, where the rocks meet the sky and the nature spirits feel close enough to touch. It is here, in the community of Arca Tentyris (one of five communities of Damanhur), that a dream born during the stillness of the pandemic is now catching the light — quite literally.

During these Epagomenal days — those special days outside of time that in Damanhur we dedicate to renewal and new beginnings — we have reached a quiet but powerful milestone: the first Tiffany glass panels for our geodesic dome in nature are being crafted.

Born from the Pandemic

The story begins in 2020. Confined to our territories, we asked ourselves a question: what if instead of going out to seek for things, we created a creative hub here?

We began seeing our land with new eyes — the generous nature surrounding us, the places Falco Tarassaco himself had identified as spaces of healing. From this shift the Community Life Campus was born: an initiative that has brought visitors into the heart of our daily life and generated the resources to build something new.

Then, synchronically, a second inspiration emerged. In one of his writings, Falco described a future where our territories would be enriched with painted and colored temples and domes. That image landed in our hearts like a seed — and we decided to make it real.

Collective Dream and Collective Creation

Today the dome stands four and a half meters tall, eight meters across, rising from a place the community reclaimed and transformed together. Around it we built a spiral and a fire altar, making this space a living work of collective art. The entire construction was funded through the entries from the Campus — a direct, tangible result of a community investing in a vision.

The Tiffany glasswork that has just begun will eventually cover the entire dome, transforming it into a luminous mosaic of color and meaning. A small group has taken the first steps, but the intention is to open the workshop to anyone who wishes to contribute — community members and visitors alike.

A Space for Everyone

When complete, the dome will be a place for meditation, art and community gatherings — a space where art transmits energy, meaning and culture.

In Falco’s vision, art is never decoration. It is a living force that nourishes the environment, the people, and the future we choose to build together. This dome is a step toward that vision.
