Grandmother Ejna’s Journey to Damanhur
This is a story of synchronicity, sacred letters, and the revival of indigenous consciousness.

In these days we have the honour of hosting Grandmother Ejna Fleury, a member of the Miniconjou, Oglala, Hunkpapa, and Ihanktonwan peoples of the Great Sioux Nation, arrived at Damanhur in what she describes as “total beautiful synchronicity.”
Ejna’s connection to Damanhur began in 2014 with Wisdom University, but as she reflects on her recent return, everything that happened previously was preparation for this pivotal moment. “I came here because the universe absolutely brought me here,” she shares.
Grandmother Ejna, a mystic and a visionary, is the First Peace Ambassador for the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe of South Dakota and a member of the Founding Mothers Movement—a global coalition working for women’s equal rights and an end to war. It’s in this latter movement that she met Shama, Damanhur ambassador (photo on the left), and their friendship revealed a common mission—the one of safeguarding the importance of indigenous wisdom, still existing, but in danger of extinction.
This is the reason why Ejna flew to Damanhur, to deposit a vibrational copy of her people’s wisdom. Damanhur is inviting Shamans and Representatives of Peoples and Wisdom Traditions from around the world to deposit a vibrational copy of the essence of their wisdom in Damanhur’s sacred areas. Thanks to the energies of our many temples and the Sacred Woods, their values and experiences are broadcasted around the world. In this way, more and more people can become aware of them, through dreams, spiritual insights and synchronicity.
A Letter That Took Her Breath Away
The most extraordinary moment came with an unexpected revelation: Falco, Damanhur’s founder, had left a letter specifically dedicated to her people, the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe of South Dakota. (See note on the Letters below for more info).
“Oh my goodness, it took my breath away. It really did,” Ejna recalls. “Opening a letter… it’s just so moving and so touching because my whole life—it’s beyond words how it touches so deeply into my heart and my soul and my devotion and everything I’ve done in my life.”
The timing was special. The letter was revealed on the final day of Damanhur’s first 50 years, creating a bridge to the next evolutionary cycle. While other letters for specific Indigenous Peoples have been shared before, this marked the first time one would be shared globally. And thanks to Ejna.
“How could I not share the letter?” Ejna asks. “It was from Falco and I knew that it needed to be shared with the community because Damanhur is about relationships and healing and supporting the indigenous voice. It was such a joy to share the letter.”
Note on the Letters:
Several months after his passing (which occurred in June 2013), we discovered that our Founder Falco had left a long series of letters. Some propose missions for everyone to undertake worldwide to create connections and alliances with all forms of Life, and some are specific for individuals or groups. And some (like in this case) were written to specific Indigenous Peoples of the World.
The letters, entrusted to a person he trusted, that we call the “Mailwoman,” continue to arrive according to the instructions left by Falco, providing inspiration over ten years after his passing.
Falco dedicated the last months of his life to writing these letters to continue inspiring and encouraging those who identify with the Spiritual Project of Damanhur, to support the field that unites them with others, to instill love in their hearts and light in their eyes, in the name of the common Spiritual Mission.
This is a complex communication system, as Falco left numerous versions of each letter, but only one version is shared depending on whether specific events occur. These letters continue to arrive to this day.
The Sacred Ceremony at the Crystal Spiral
Ejna’s visit culminated in a profound ceremony at Damanhur’s Crystal Spiral, where she deposited a vibrational copy of her people’s wisdom.
The ceremony was transformative, offering glimpses into realms of consciousness that—as she said—her “poor little body” could barely contain. “It was very clear in the transmission that as a human in this body, I could only have glimpses of the glory and the power and the magnificence, the beauty, the wisdom, because it would have blown my poor little body away.”
Throughout the ritual, she felt drawn to specific crystals and stones, each offering blessings while participating in “the field of beauty itself.” The experience was filled with joy and magnificence, but also with profound service—recognizing that crystals were waiting for transmissions of wisdom traditions from around the world.
A Vision Beyond Hope
“My experience of Damanhur is beyond dreams, beyond words, beyond feelings, beyond hopes, because it’s actually coming into a community where there is an honoring of creation itself and the incarnation of what it is to be a human being—but not just in a single lifetime. It’s our whole journey with the cosmos.
Our whole human family is at a very crucial point in our evolutionary journey, and Damanhur is committed to the healing, to the expansion, to the blossoming of who we truly are as cosmic journeyers.
I am moving beyond hope because coming to Damanhur and participating with this spectacular, beautiful ceremony is really about moving into the realization of our true destiny—to become inspirited beings here, but also that we’re not only star makers, we’re also galaxy makers.”
