An Extraordinary Exploration of the Wyrdoscope at Damanhur

On April 22–23, 2025, Damanhur hosted a pioneering research project led by Peter Merry, Ph.D., using the Wyrdoscope, a measurement tool designed to detect statistical correlations between collective consciousness events and quantum phenomena. Peter Merry, an expert in evolutionary leadership, social innovation, and consciousness research, is co-founder of Ubiquity University, CEO of Wyrd Technologies Ltd and author of several books on systemic change and consciousness science.

Data collection took place during two significant events at Damanhur:

An Astral Travel Course, culminating in a special activation in the Temples of Humankind, where participants, guided by Esperide Ananas, engaged in techniques to expand consciousness and experience out-of-body travel.
The seminar “AWAKENING ESSENTIALS 1 – Turn on the Senses of Your Soul”, a path dedicated to reawakening the “inner senses” or “senses of the soul.” The method has been perfected over 25 years of research at Damanhur, this course guides participants in reactivating subtle energetic organs connected to the chakras and kundalini, through meditation practices, movement, and, importantly, activations within the Temples.

What is the Wyrdoscope?

The Wyrdoscope uses two random event generators (REGs) based on quantum tunneling effects. Normally, these devices should produce purely random data. However, previous studies, such as those by the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) Lab, have shown that human intention and group consciousness can statistically influence these devices. The Wyrdoscope measures these influences across six different channels, offering a rich and broad analysis.

Results at Damanhur:
The Active Role of Selfica
and the Temples of Humankind

The preliminary experience took place in the spiral of Damanhur’s capital, Damjl. During the walk through the Spiral and the energetic connection with a standing stone (menhir), the Wyrdoscope recorded a significant peak (1:82), indicating a clear influence on the subtle energetic field.
Damanhurian Spirals are energetic pathways constructed according to sacred geometries and activated through specific rituals, supporting the harmonization of the vital field and connection with nature’s forces. An extraordinary peak occurred during individual interaction with a Spheroself, one of the most sophisticated Selfic devices, reaching a correlation probability of 1:18,000. This statistically remarkable result highlights how Selfica—an ancient art-science rediscovered and developed at Damanhur—can generate a coherent and measurable energetic field.

During the astral travel activation in the Temples, another exceptional result was recorded: the moment of Peter Merry’s personal connection with an image of Falco Tarassaco corresponded to a peak of 1:140,000. It is important to note that this was a personal experience of Peter, occurring during the course but outside of the standard dynamics foreseen in the group activation.

Significant peaks were also observed while Frankko was playing music in the Hall of Metals and during meditations in the Hall of Water and the Hall of Spheres

The Awakening Essentials Course:
Reactivating the Soul’s Senses

In the AWAKENING ESSENTIALS 1 – Turn on the Senses of Your Soul seminar, participants rediscover their subtle energetic structure, made of subtle organs and limbs that enable connection to higher planes of reality. Through Selfic devices and activations in the Temples, elements such as “Energetic Wings,” the “Energetic Tail,” the “Sphere” above the head, and other subtle limbs connected to the chakras are reawakened. This profound inner alchemy process makes tangible the senses of memory, dreaming, divine connection, and true empathy, allowing each participant to awaken their divine potential.

As Peter Merry points out, although this exploration was not a formal scientific experiment, the results strongly suggest that Selfica and the Temples of Humankind generate real and measurable effects on the subtle and quantum fields.
